Alaska Sweet and Spicy Recipes
Alaskan Umami Sauce is very versatile and can be used in a wide variety of dishes.
It is most commonly used as a BBQ Sauce, but is also a wonderful Marinade, or Dipping Sauce.
Here are just a few fantastic recipes
Grilled Shrimp Kabobs; Put shrimp on skewers and baste a light coat of Alaskan Umami Sauce, grill for about 1 1/2 -2 minutes on each side, until cooked. (I like to warm the sauce in the microwave for a few seconds to thin it out)
Chicken Stir Fry; Sautee the chicken over medium heat in a little pure sesame oil until slightly cooked. Drain any excess liquid, add your favorite vegetables and 2-3 TBSP of Alaskan Umami Sauce and finish cooking for 4-5 minutes until chicken is cooked through. Serve with rice. Also delicious on Beef Stir Fry
Super easy Baby Back Ribs; Place ribs in a baking dish, coat with your choice of Mild, Hot or Extra Hot Alaskan Umami Sauce, cover and bake @ 275 degrees for about 2 1/2 hours. Remove cover and apply 2nd coat of sauce, bake for an additional 20-30 minutes and serve with your favorite sides.
Hit of the party, Baked Brie! Place wheel of brie in baking dish, sautee apples with butter and cinnamon over medium heat for 4-5 minutes, layer the apples on top of the brie, coat with toasted almonds and top with the Alaskan Umami Sauce. Bake @ 350 for 15 minutes, until cheese inside the rind is soft
2015 World Champion Chicken Wings; Place wings in a baking dish, coat with your choice of Mild, Hot or Extra Hot Alaskan Umami Sauce, cover and bake @ 375 degrees for about 40 minutes. Apply 2nd coat of sauce, bake for an additional 10-15 minutes and serve with your favorite sides.
